Kuwaiti Trail Mix is affiliated with AHOPE Orphanage – the only orphanage that assists and houses children born with HIV in Ethiopia. We remember visiting the children’s home and seeing the girl on the far left with the beautiful pink shirt sleeping peacefully. The director of the center, Alemu, informed us that her HIV developed into AIDS and she will leave us pretty soon. Life is unequivocally cruel. We are now looking into hosting a fundraiser here in Kuwait for this orphanage and a school for under privileged children in Addis Ababa.
